Baby MosesTo save her baby from being killed by the Pharaoh, Jochebed hid her baby in a basket by the Nile River. The Pharaoh’s daughter found the basket. She named him Moses and paid Jochebed to care for him.

Moses the ProphetMoses grew up as a son of Pharaoh’s daughter. He fled to Midian after killing an Egyptian. Here the Lord appeared to Moses in a burning bush and told him to return to Egypt to free the Israelites.
